I have been fortunate to receive my formal education with a Master of Social Science Degree in Public Administration from Utah State University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Police Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Finance from Weber State University.

Additionally, I am a graduate of the Military Science Program at Weber State University and the United States Army’s Quartermaster Officer Basic and Advanced Courses. I am also a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff Officer Course.

My wife Telitha and I have served for many years and continue to serve throughout the region in areas that support education.  I am the Past Alumni Board President of Weber State University and a Past Member of Weber State University's Board of Trustees.  I am also appointed by the Governor to serve as the Chairman of the Utah POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training Academy) Council.
